BOARDING DOGS AND CATS at Bow Wow Resort

Since 1970 we have been offering boarding and overnight stays. A lot has changed since then both of the old buildings have been replaced and we have expanded our services.

Each dog has its own climate controlled indoor living area and private outdoor exercise pad. Dogs have the freedom to go outside all day long. All dogs have a view of the fields or woods. From their outdoor area they can enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of the outdoors.  Dogs then can come inside to the quiet private nesting area to have a snack, drink and a rest. In addition to the indoor living area we offer as an option a totally outdoor living or daytime area. Large traditional outdoor kennels runs with insulated dog houses and shade. This area is more open allows the more active breeds freedom and space to bark, run and enjoy the stimulation of a 360 degree view.

Fresh water is provided at all times, and their area kept immaculately clean. Feeding is done in the early morning and then again in the afternoon. We can accommodate special diets and medications for all dogs.
All dogs and cats must be immunized up to date.

MEDICATIONS
With instruction from your veterinarian, we can administer medications that your dog needs only a daily basis, or only on occasion. This service is an extra charge

PLAYTIME
Playtime is an extra service that we provide to help make your dogs stay a pleasant one. We can walk, run, play or just cuddle with your dog, or play a game that he enjoys. We include brushing & cleaning of ears as part of playtime. Playtime is a favorite time of day for your dog. This extra service provides the activities that are fun for your dog. Whether we walk your dog in the field or trails, brush your dog, play ball or throw a Frisbee your dog will have fun or just give him or her some special private time, it certainly makes your dogs stay a pleasant experience keeps them stimulated and happy. We feel dogs become more familiar with us, and look forward to returning to a place where they have the opportunity to feel part of a pack. Dogs can also join in with daycare groups for a day fun dog interaction and games. Playtime is available from 1 to 4 times per day depending on the dogs needs.

DAY CARE
Day care is for puppies or adult dogs that need a little more attention, socialization or interaction with people on a daily basis. Day care is also for dogs that need medication during the day while the family is at work. Day Care is also for the lonely Geriatric dog who is alone for long periods of time during the day. Dogs are dropped off in the AM and picked up at the end of the day.
